Position Summary As a Sewing Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process, using your expertise to assemble, reinforce, and embellish military apparel with precision. We are seeking individuals skilled in single needle lockstitch, serger (overlock), coverstitch, or flatlock techniques. Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines to sew fabric parts for military jackets and pants. Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot sewing issues as needed. Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to optimize efficiency. Qualifications Minimum 1 years of experience operating sewing machines in a manufacturing setting. You will be tested at the interview. Proficiency in single needle lockstitch, serger (overlock), coverstitch, or flatlock sewing techniques preferred. Ability to interpret work orders and follow detailed instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Flexibility to perform repetitive tasks and manual dexterity for intricate sewing operations. Work Environment Air-conditioned facility providing a comfortable working environment. Seated position, ensuring ergonomic comfort during sewing operations. Work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels typical of a manufacturing facility.
