Job Description:

Industrial Sewer Nature and Scope of Position The Industrial Sewer sews covers to complete sales orders and reviews the Sewing Priority sheet to support overall production scheduling.

Primary Responsibilities Production:

Sew covers in a timely manner to meet production goals.

Accuracy:

Complete detailed instructions from job orders accurately and precisely.

Technical Execution:

Interpret and utilize engineering drawings when required.

Pattern Management:

Maintain and organize sewing patterns.

Fulfillment:

Package and prep completed orders for shipment or next-stage production. Additional Responsibilities Collaborate actively as a member of the Materials and Manufacturing teams. Identify and report Continuous Improvement or Corrective Action suggestions to the Management Team. Perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate management.

Skills and Specifications Autonomy:

Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Comprehension:

Ability to read and thoroughly understand all manufacturing and safety instructions.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to identify and manage production issues in a timely manner.

Outward-thinking, well-organized, and able to multitask under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

Background, Experience, & Education Requirements Experience:

1-3 years of industrial sewing experience.

Equipment Knowledge:

Proven experience operating industrial/commercial sewing machines.

Technical Skills:

Ability to thread sewing machines and change needles safely; strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret patterns.

Safety & Tech:
