S_180392 The Production/Kiln Operator is a vital part of the a independly operating team that creates renewable and PEFC-certified forest products with the best wood material that will last for decades. The products are manufactured using only heat and steam, and their unique features inspire architects and designers to create stunning projects around the world. Lunawood products can be used in facades, interiors, and landscaping in all climatic conditions. The Production/Kiln Operator works in non climate controlled spaces and uses skills in maintenence, forest/wood industry and technical machine operations to manufacture, pick, prepare for shipment and problem solve. #IND123

Responsibilities:

Operating thermo treatment kiln and process

Maintaining accurate records of kiln operation and reporting

Controlling the flow of materials into and out of the kiln

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, participation in safety work and development

Forklift operation to load and unload the kiln efficiently and safely

Inspecting finished products for defects or inconsistencies.

Collecting samples for quality control testing ... Performing routine inspections of equipment and machines, identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions.

Participation in manufacturing and thermo treatment process development work Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00

PM Skills:

Previous experience in lumber operations

Kiln operations

Education:
High School Experience:

1-4 years
