Job Description
The CIPP Lining Technician is responsible for rehabilitating underground sewer and stormwater pipelines using trenchless cured-in-place pipe lining methods. This role involves pipe inspection, cleaning, liner installation, curing operations, equipment setup, and safety compliance. Technicians work in field environments and may operate specialized equipment such as inversion drums, boilers, CCTV inspection systems, and vacuum units. Key Responsibilities
- Perform sewer and drain rehabilitation using CIPP lining methods.
- Prepare job sites and ensure proper traffic and safety controls are in place.
- Conduct pipeline cleaning and CCTV inspections before and after installation.
- Measure, cut, impregnate, and install liners into existing pipelines.
- Operate inversion equipment, compressors, boilers, and curing systems.
- Monitor curing temperatures and pressures during liner installation.
- Reopen service connections using robotic cutting equipment.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and rehabilitation equipment.
- Complete daily job reports, inspection logs, and safety documentation.
