Stationary Engineer opening in King of Prussia! No travel/road work required, completely stationary at one property! Multiple shifts available! Overview We are seeking a Stationary Engineer to support the operation of a central utilities plant serving a commercial facility that includes laboratory and office space. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing boilers, chillers, and related plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation of building utility systems. The ideal candidate is experienced in central plant operations and comfortable working in a facility that supports technical and laboratory operations. Responsibilities Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair central utility plant equipment, including boilers, chillers, pumps, and cooling towers Monitor plant systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of heating and cooling infrastructure Perform routine rounds/logs on boilers, chillers, and auxiliary equipment, adjusting operations as needed Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, boiler/pressure vessel codes, and company policies Coordinate with facilities, maintenance teams, and contractors as needed Maintain accurate documentation of plant operations, repairs, and maintenance activities Respond to plant alarms and emergencies, taking corrective action as required Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Experience operating and maintaining boilers and chillers in a commercial or industrial setting 2+ years of central plant, stationary engineering, or facilities operations experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of backup generators Ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams and blueprints Knowledge of boiler/pressure vessel codes and safety regulations Ability to work independently in a facility maintenance environment Preferences Experience working in laboratory, research, or technical facilities Stationary Engineer/Boiler license or certification Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off Life and Disability Insurance If you are a skilled Stationary Engineer looking for a stable, facility-based role where you can apply your expertise across office and laboratory environments, apply today.
