Overview This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday, Initial Training 8:00 AM•4:30 PM), (
After Initial Training Possible Shifts:
4:00 AM•12:30 PM or 6:00 AM•2:30 PM) Looking for individuals who are seeking long-term employment and growth opportunities with our company. Join our growing team at Port Angeles Composite LLC as an Autoclave Technician, where you will play a critical role in supporting composite manufacturing operations. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for loading and unloading autoclaves, assisting with cure cycles, and supporting production through a variety of essential shop tasks. We're looking for a detail-oriented individual who can follow precise procedures, maintain quality standards, and contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday), with training hours from 6:00 AM•2:30 PM, subject to change based on production needs. Duties Load and unload autoclaves according to recipe and mapping requirements Assist in running complete autoclave cure cycles Perform autoclave hose testing and basic repairs as needed Build and repair thermocouples Clean and maintain lay-up tooling after each production run Inspect tools for wear and initiate documentation for repairs when needed Prepare and document tooling for future use Input data and document autoclave run information in systems Follow work procedures and planning requirements for each part Perform general shop support tasks (e.g., building ports, maintaining air lines, equipment upkeep) Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Blueprint reading and mechanical experience preferred Basic knowledge of tools and manufacturing processes Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Work Environment & Requirements Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, temperature changes, and industrial conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, and physical activity throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and assist with heavier items as needed Ability to safely operate shop equipment and power tools Must follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Closing Statement If you're a motivated problem-solver who enjoys helping others and improving systems, this is a great opportunity to grow your IT career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
