Apply today to join the Sterilite team! We are looking for an experienced Machinist . Some of the major duties will include: Repair and replace mold components. Inspection of molds and the cleaning, disassembling, and assembling molds when necessary. Inspect interior surfaces of molds to locate pits and holes. Clean, disassemble, assemble and maintain molds when necessary. Position molds for work. Repair defects and smooth interior of mold. Construct jigs and fixtures for secondary operations on finished goods. Machine replacement parts for machines and be capable of operating all of the machines in the department. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 2year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
