Pediatrix Medical Group, in partnership with Rapides Women's and Children's Hospital (RWCH), is seeking dedicated and compassionate Neonatologists to join our growing team in Alexandria, Louisiana on a per diem basis.

HOLIDAY COVERAGE NEEDED!

Dec 22-25 and 29-Jan 2

24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) coverage.

Collaborative 2 Neonatologist / 4 NNP model

NNPs in-house 24 hours a day

Home call for Neonatologists after rounds

1,500-2,000 deliveries annually

Newborn nursery rounds

NNP-led transport team (physician covers in-house during transports)

You'll be part of a collegial, evidence-based team focused on quality-driven protocols and continuous improvement in neonatal care.

Board Certification in Neonatology required

A minimum of 1-year post-fellowship clinical experience required

Recent Neonatologist experience required (within the past 12 months)

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
