Full Job Description Die Setter Schedule:
1st Shift, Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (4x10s)
Pay:
$23.00 - $27.50/hour Summary Seeking an experienced Die Setter to perform set-ups on progressive dies (up to 400-ton presses), ensuring maximum efficiency, quality, and safety in a production environment. Responsibilities Set up progressive dies, feeds, and press equipment Load/unload dies and coils; prepare presses for production Perform first-piece inspections and maintain part quality Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators) Troubleshoot production issues and make necessary adjustments Perform minor die repair and machine maintenance Monitor production for efficiency and minimal downtime Complete setup documentation and maintain accurate records Maintain clean and safe work area; follow all safety procedures Requirements 3+ years progressive die setting experience Experience with precision measuring equipment Ability to read blueprints and perform inspections Knowledge of die repair, machine troubleshooting, and press setup Understanding of quality standards and production processes Towmotor (forklift) experience preferred Strong attention to detail and safety
