Job Description

UTILITY OPERATOR - WATER & WASTEWATER

Pay:

$30.90-$52.69/hr DOE & Licensure Full-Time

Carbondale, CO
M-F 7:00-3:30
On-call rotation The Town of Carbondale is hiring Utility Operators at multiple levels: Maintenance Worker, Utility Technician, and Water/Wastewater Operator I-III.

Paid training, advancement, and certification support provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with water/wastewater treatment operations Maintain pumps, motors, valves, distribution & collection systems Perform repairs, meter work, sampling, and field duties Operator-level staff perform plant operations, SCADA monitoring, process control, and regulatory compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18+, HS diploma/GED, valid CO driver's license Mechanical aptitude required Water/Wastewater certifications preferred but not required Must pass physical, background check, and drug screen
