Training would be provided for duties and scope of work.
Job duties:
Operation / minor maintenance of DMP system Operation / minor maintenance of boiler and steam system Daily boiler chemical testing and safety checks Weekly boiler chemical testing and safety checks Monthly boiler safety checks and PM checklist Quarterly boiler PM checklist Monitoring and maintenance of flexo glue totes [starch room] Scope of work (including, but not limited to): Pipe fitting (PVC / threaded pipe) Removal / Rebuilding / Reinstallation of DMP pumps Removal / Rebuilding / Reinstallation of flexo glue pumps Housekeeping / Painting of DMP room & equipment Housekeeping / Painting of Boiler room & equipment Daily tasks: Filling slitter oil, knife oils, cleaning baler, compressor room logs
NO ELECTRICAL OF ANY KIND
Expectations:
Maintain DMP room / equipment to OEM specs at all times Maintain waste water treatment costs at or below industry standards Maintain Boiler room / equipment to OEM specs at all times Meet with Wastewater vendor monthly to review treatments Meet with Fox Metro as required Meet with Nalco monthly to review boiler chemistry Be present for annual boiler Inspection (Saturday / Sunday) Can develop / maintain records as needed for DMP / boiler rooms & equipment Can develop / maintain procedures, JSA, SOP for DMP / boiler rooms & equipment Class K wastewater certification Skills /
Qualifications:
Excellent safety mindset / hazard recognition (no write-ups previous 12 months) Outstanding Attendance (no more than one LEVEL 1 in the previous 12 months) No quality write ups
(previous 6 months) Self motivated

Enter notifications & Purchase Requisitions (preferred, if not; will train) Forklift certified (preferred, if not; will train) Technicians would receive one on one, hands on training with DMP and waste water chemical service representatives.
Technicians would receive one on one, hands on training with our Nalco service representative before assuming any boiler duties or responsibilities. Technicians would receive one on one, hands on training with Maintenance Supervision on the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual requirements and expectations of the boiler and steam systems. Technicians would attend Outside Vendor boiler training seminar after a minimum of six months of boiler duties.
