Job Description

Service Technician - Water Treatment Systems Southern Water is a locally owned family business that has proudly served southeastern North Carolina for over 60 years. We're looking for a dependable, mechanically minded Service Technician to join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

Service and maintain residential and commercial water treatment equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues Assist in installing filters, water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, UV systems, and related equipment Perform preventative maintenance and routine service calls Educate customers on proper operation and maintenance of their systems Complete accurate service reports and maintain an organized company vehicle Deliver exceptional customer service at every visit

What We're Looking For:

Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills Detail oriented and organized. Clean driving record Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Comfortable working independently, as well as part of a team. Professional appearance and communication skills Reliable, honest, and motivated to learn Experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person with the right attitude.
