If you have what it takes to be a top seed and want to join our growing team, apply now! Role Summary The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for facility sanitation in a food manufacturing plant. The supervisor will lead a team, promoting and maintaining adherence to food safety cleanliness, using proper work procedures and compliance with Food Safety Standards as defined by the FDA, SQF and /or HACCP programs. A Day in the Life Supervise daily workloads, training staff, and handle performance reviews and goal setting for sanitation staff of 4-5 employees. Responsible for training all new sanitation workers in proper cleaning SSOPs, chemical use and safety procedures. Oversee all sanitation functions for plant/shift. Schedule major cleanup projects with production / facility management. Manage detailed cleaning tasks as per production schedule, and master sanitation schedules. Monitor staffing to reduce costs and increase efficiency whenever possible. Maintain chemical usage and cleaning logs. Responsible for inventory and storing of all sanitation supplies. Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF requirements. Accountable for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to the facility manager. Partner with others by sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas. Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development. Provide backup assistance in the absence of Sanitation staff member(s) In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your manager, as dictated by business necessity. What you Bring
  • 3 years of experience working in sanitation within food manufacturing required.
  • High School Diploma required. Associates degree preferred, ideally with concentration in manufacturing technology, industrial operations, or quality control.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and ERP system (Odoo, etc.) (
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to generate clear reports and define clear 'asks' for management decision making
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • A passion for natural food and healthy eating as well as a desire to change the way we think about ingredients.
  • Proficient in English speaking/reading/writing, report generation, and ability to maintain document control.
  • Ability to follow verbal/written directions.
  • Lift up to 50 lb.

Facility Manager Shift:
Overnight (10pm-6am) Work Environment
