•Assist in planning, prioritizing, assigning, supervising and reviewing the work of staff responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the City's wastewater treatment facilities. Recommend and assist in the implementation of goals and objectives; assist in implementing approved policies and procedures. Establish schedules and methods for providing wastewater treatment services; identify resource needs; review needs with appropriate management staff; allocate resources accordingly. Assist in the selection of wastewater treatment plant staff; work with employees to correct deficiencies; recommend discipline procedures. Assist in the preparation and administration of the wastewater treatment plant budget; submit budget recommendations; complete purchase requisitions; monitor expenditures. Review various analyses and reports and make recommendations. Assist in preparing analytical and statistical reports on operations and activities. Assist in ordering parts, equipment, and chemicals for the wastewater treatment facilities. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED, Four years of increasingly responsible experience working in water or wastewater treatment.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid Driver's License Possession of a Wastewater Operator License, Class \"B\" or higher, issued by the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.

Knowledge and Skills :

Operations, services, and activities of a comprehensive wastewater treatment program. Principles of supervision, training and performance evaluation. Modern and complex principles and practices of wastewater treatment. Principles of municipal budget preparation and control. Principles of procedures of record keeping and reporting. Occupational hazards and standard safety practices. Pertinent Federal, State and local laws, codes and regulations.
