In-Person Competitive Salary 0 Months Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 20.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Part-Time Description The Wastewater Plant Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the wastewater treatment plant and collection system to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This role includes performing routine maintenance, supporting system reliability, and ensuring all regulatory and reporting requirements are met.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and maintain the wastewater treatment plant and collection system
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and system components
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and reporting requirements
Support safe, efficient, and reliable operations through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting
Maintain accurate logs, records, and reports as required
Follow all safety practices, procedures, and guidelines

Experience Required:

0-6 months of experience in wastewater operations or a related field (entry-level; training provided)

Skills Required:

Basic mechanical, plumbing, and electrical knowledge
Welding fundamentals
Equipment maintenance and repair skills
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to follow safety practices and protocols

Computer Skills:

Experience with Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency

Education Requirements:
