BEEF PLANT IN ABERDEEN SOUTH DAKOTA NEEDS WASTEWATER TECHNICIANS ON 1ST AND 3RD SHIFT WASTEWATER ON 6AM-630PM OR 6PM-630AM 223 SCHEDULE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH CERTIFICATES AS WELL. PAYS

UP TO $1K-$2k Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate and maintain water pre-treatment systems, including piping, pumps, valves, screens, dissolved air flotation (DAF), aeration systems, flow meters, and lagoons. Record operational data, monitor readings, and make necessary adjustments to equipment and processes. Monitor water flow and treatment processes to ensure system functionality and efficiency. Inspect equipment regularly and conduct minor repairs or notify appropriate personnel. Collect water and wastewater samples for testing; perform or assist with chemical and microbiological analysis as needed. Operate and maintain control panels and power-generating equipment. Administer chemical treatments as needed and in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure operations meet all federal, state, and local environmental agency regulations. Maintain safety protocols and wear always required PPE. Job Requirements Must have a valid Class II (or similar) wastewater treatment license 2-4 years of experience in a wastewater treatment facility or related maintenance field. Strong skills in reading, writing, and basic mathematics. Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully across diverse teams and management levels. Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States. Willingness and ability to work 12-hour shifts, including overnights. Must be able to work 6:00 PM- 6:30 AM as scheduled. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and talk for extended periods (8-10 hours/day). Ability to lift to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in varying conditions including hot, cold, wet, and noisy environments. Must have a valid driver's license. #IND2
