As we continue to grow, we're hiring a Licensed Landscaping Application Specialist to lead our spray department and perform hands‑on application work. This role blends leadership, technical expertise, and operational oversight. Position Overview We're looking for a self‑motivated entrepreneurial leader with strong diagnostic skills and deep industry knowledge. You'll oversee spray operations, manage chemical inventory, support job costing, train technicians, and perform field applications, all while maintaining high service standards. Key Responsibilities Chemical Application - Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and specialty treatments per Washington regulations. Team Leadership — Train, mentor, and manage application technicians. Department Management — Oversee scheduling, chemical inventory, job costing, and equipment readiness. Diagnostics — Evaluate turf, soil, and plant health to determine accurate treatment plans. Customer Service — Communicate treatment plans and maintain strong client relationships. Compliance — Maintain accurate records and ensure all applications meet Washington State regulations. Required Qualifications Valid Washington State Pesticide Applicator License Licensing in Ornamental Weed, Insect, and Disease categories PCO certification or ability to obtain 5+ years in chemical application, turf management, or landscape maintenance Strong leadership, training ability, and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and customer service Ability to work independently and outdoors in all conditions Preferred Experience in a multi‑division landscaping environment Mechanical aptitude and interest in long‑term growth What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and licensing Advancement opportunities in a growing company Supportive leadership and high‑quality equipment
