Job Description

Job Overview ASC Staffing Group is hiring an experienced TIG Pipe Welder for a manufacturing/fabrication company in Jurupa Valley, Ca. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on TIG welding experience who is comfortable working with pipe, stainless steel, and fabricated metal components. Candidates should be able to read drawings, fit and align materials, and produce clean, quality welds.
Responsibilities include:
Perform
TIG/GTAW
welding on pipe and fabricated components Weld stainless steel and other metals Fit, align, clamp, and tack materials before welding Read blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols Inspect completed welds for quality Use grinders, measuring tools, and fabrication equipment Follow all shop safety procedures Work independently and as part of a fabrication team
Qualifications:
Previous TIG welding experience required Pipe welding experience strongly preferred Experience with stainless steel preferred Ability to perform or successfully complete a 6G pipe weld test Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols Experience using fabrication and measuring tools AWS or other welding certifications are a plus Reliable transportation Ability to lift up to approximately 50 lbs
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
