Welders / Fabricators Welders / Fabricators are responsible for assembly and fabricating products in a fast-paced environment by interpreting engineering documents, do parts assembly and welding / grinding on small to large items. Amongst the responsibilities above, they will be required to advise and work with design and manufacturing engineers. Essential Functions Welding steel, aluminum, and stainless parts and assemblies using MIG and TIG processes Inspect components and assemblies against documentation to ensure fit up and quality compliance. This includes structural and aesthetic weld quality Document measurements and processes Collaborate with other manufacturing and office staff to accomplish business and product related projects Follow work instructions and document inconsistencies and/or potential cost savings Troubleshoot welding equipment Operate forklift Operate independently under established procedures Maintain a safe and clean work environment Competencies TIG and MIG welding Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. This includes basic dimensioning, welding callouts, and special operation notes Attention to detail Collaborate and communicate in a team environment Self Motivating Requirements Physically able to lift 50lbs Previous welding experience and professional references High School Diploma Not required, but big pluses Additional education Passion for offroading and/or auto industry Benefits All equipment provided.
