POSITION OVERIEW

We are seeking a skilled Welder responsible for performing high-quality welds on a variety of metal components according to specifications and project requirements. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Set up welding machines based on job specifications.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with quality standards.
• Operate hand tools, grinders, and cutting equipment as needed.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, or safety hazards.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Technical training or certification in welding preferred.
• 1-3 years of welding experience (manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred)/
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.).
• Ability to perform quality welds in multiple positions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must pass a weld test prior to employment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Indoor manufacturing/workshop setting.
• Exposure to noise, grease, and other typical conditions of a mechanical assembly environment.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
