Hourly Compensation Range:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour (plus applicable off-shift pay differential) Position Overview We are hiring for one of our clients, a global leader in advanced manufacturing, industrial automation, and software-industrial technologies. As a Welder, you will work on a collaborative production team ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of high-precision welding operations. Working on-site at the Palmetto, FL facility, you will execute diverse welding processes, inspect finished welds, and maintain equipment in accordance with strict engineering standards. This role reports directly to the Welding Supervisor. Key Responsibilities
Perform manual and semi-automatic welding operations (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW) on specialized materials, including aluminum and stainless steel, in compliance with quality requirements and industry standards.
Execute material preparation tasks, including fitting, cutting, and grinding operations.
Perform detailed visual inspections of welds for defects to ensure continuous high-quality output.
Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
Follow established workplace safety protocols and maintain an organized work environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives.
Assist in mentoring and training junior welders to build team capabilities and enforce quality standards.
6+ years of hands-on experience with semi-automatic and manual welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW) on aluminum and stainless steel.
Mandatory experience with aluminum welding techniques and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and AWS welding symbols.
Working knowledge of shop mathematics, geometry, angles, and the metric system.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Physical capability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift up to 30 lbs as required by shop operations.
Work Authorization & Export Control Compliance:
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations (ITAR/EAR), candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), or an individual with protected status under U.S. asylum or refugee status.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical certification in welding technology or graduation from an accredited welding program.
Experience in pressure vessel manufacturing in accordance with ASME code standards.
Experience with pipe fitting and welding governed by B31.
