Works with job foreman or managers to assess and diagnose all variables from start to finish on each project. Works as a team player and does any assigned job to the best of ability. Candidate will generally use on daily basis: MIG, TIG and Laser welding, drill and impact driver, grinders, porta band, hand plasma machine, torch, metal saw, assorted hand tools etc. Receives work orders and shop prints, developing sketches and using shop calculations if necessary. Selects materials according to strength, durability and suitability for the particular job. Candidate will (preferably) need to have experience working with materials ranging from 11 gauge - 24 gauge (steel and stainless steel), plus .040 - 1/4 aluminum. Duties and requirements include but are not limited to:

•Candidates for this job must be hard working, reliable and able to think... Produce products and custom fabrication from raw metal Fit-up and layout experience is required MIG, TIG, Laser weld, Torch, Drill, Plasma machine Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively Able to read blueprints, shop drawings and other technical documents Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required Able to take direction well Must be in good physical shape and able to safely lift at least 50 pounds Ability to read a tape measure Ability to walk, bend, squat, grasp and grab Must be able to work OT (MANDATORY/VOLUNTARY) Reliable vehicle Have personal hand tools Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal Minimum of HS diploma or GED Live within 30 minutes of shop
