POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. This individual is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work on a variety of metal components used in HVAC, piping, and structural systems. This role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards in both shop and field environments.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on various metals and materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and welding symbols.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for welding and assembly.
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with specifications.
- Set up and maintain welding equipment, tools, and consumables.
- Work collaboratively with fabrication and installation teams to meet project goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment checks.
- Identify and report defective materials or unsafe conditions.
- Assist in training and mentoring welding apprentices or helpers as needed.
