The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal and piping. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial role in building and assembling products that meet industry codes and standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Assemble components using various welding techniques, ensuring structural integrity. Perform welding on sheet metal and pipes, adhering to safety and quality standards. Utilize tools such as micrometers for precise measurements during fabrication. Conduct machining tasks as needed to prepare materials for assembly. Thread pipes accurately to ensure proper fit and function in assemblies. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations. Skills Proficient in welding techniques and processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. 3 years experience Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience with sheet metal fabrication and assembly. Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding and fabrication. Familiarity with machining processes is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
