MIG Welder / Fabricator Engineered Welding, Inc. is a growing custom metal fabrication company located in Anamosa, Iowa . Since 2002, we have been manufacturing high-quality welded products for OEMs and industrial customers throughout the United States. We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator who takes pride in producing quality work. This is not repetitive production welding—you will work on a variety of custom fabrication projects including hydraulic reservoir tanks, structural weldments, machine components, and custom assemblies. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on carbon steel Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Fit and fabricate metal components Operate fabrication equipment including saws, ironworkers, grinders, and drills Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and safe work area Work with the production team to complete projects on schedule Qualifications Minimum 2 years of MIG welding and fabrication experience Ability to read blueprints Experience using measuring tools Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and positive attitude Preferred Qualifications TIG welding experience Forklift experience AWS certification (not required) What We Offer Full-time, stable employment Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Modern fabrication equipment Friendly team environment Opportunity to work on a wide variety of custom manufacturing projects Applicants will complete a welding test during the interview process.
