Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality metal structures and parts, adhering to safety standards and industry best practices. Rebar Fabrication Operator:

Read and interpret customer orders, engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine material requirements, dimensions, finished-product characteristics, and machine setup. Pull, measure, cut, bend, weld, and fabricate rebar assemblies according to engineering prints, customer specifications, and production schedules. Fabricate and bend pull-pins for the cover casting department while maintaining required specifications and quality standards. Prepare and stage rebar, material-handling skids, storage racks, and dunnage to support continuous production and efficient material flow. Operate and assist with rebar bending equipment by positioning, separating, lifting, and aligning steel bars for initial and subsequent bends. Transfer finished rebar bundles to designated staging areas, properly tie and secure materials, and prepare completed assemblies for shipping. Support shear operations by supplying the correct size, quantity, and length of rebar for cutting operations. Receive, position, and organize steel bundles on shear racks; break open bundles, shake out individual bars, and stage material on feed tables. Coordinate with crane operators to safely move unused steel, group materials, and secure bundles with appropriate ties and identification tags. Perform fabrication processes including shearing, bending, auto-bonding, threading, and other operations required to produce finished components. Select and retrieve appropriate raw materials based on work orders, engineering specifications, and production requirements. Inspect finished work using visual inspection, tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions, workmanship, and product quality. Identify and report quality issues or dimensional discrepancies and make appropriate adjustments to maintain compliance with specifications. Package and prepare finished products for shipment by installing bracing, padding, strapping, and other protective materials to prevent movement or damage during transportation. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area by properly storing materials, removing debris, and maintaining designated product locations. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, PPE requirements, and safe material-handling practices. Work collaboratively with production, fabrication, material-handling, quality, and shipping teams to meet production schedules and customer requirements. Support continuous workflow by identifying material or production issues and communicating potential delays to appropriate team members.
