Job Description

Welder 1st & 2nd shifts First shift hours 6am-4pm M-Th OT on Friday 2nd

Shift:

Monday- Thursday 3:30pm - 1:30am (OT would fall on Friday if needed): Will train on first shift hours 6am-4pm M-Th until 2nd shift is launched estimated to be in October We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Welder to join our team for our Client in Milford, IA. This is a hands-on position where you'll weld, set up and perform all functions of welding which are essential to our business that meet cosmetic quality standards

Responsibilities:

Setup and perform welding per prints including (spot welding, robotic welder and MIG welding) Any required finishing of the product to meet workmanship standard (grinding and sanding) Enter work order data required for labor reporting into the computer system Use inspection equipment and review blueprints to ensure work is meeting or exceeding quality standards Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor. Work in a manner that emphasizes safety of self and others. Follows all health and safety policies and guidelines Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED Proven experience reading blue prints and using inspection equipment/measuring devices Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques Previous experience with computer skills such as typing, printing and data entry. Ability to use math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
