Job Description Level One welders work under direct supervision to weld small assemblies in a limited number of weld types and positions, performing mostly corner welds. Level one welders are certified to 3G as well as to internal certifications. Level one welders perform basic welding operations using TIG (GTAW) mostly on stainless steel. Level of Education:

GED or High School diploma preferred but not required. Required Skills Basic print reading Basic shop math Physical Requirements Ability to walk, stand, crawl, and climb in industrial environments for extended periods. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, and safety shoes. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds occasionally. This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
