Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Welder - Combo, where your skills will shine in a fast-paced environment! In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks across multiple techniques including MIG, TIG, and FCAW. Your expertise will contribute to the fabrication and assembly of high-quality components while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. What you'll do Execute various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and FCAW on diverse materials such as sheet metal and ductwork. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication and assembly. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters to complete projects efficiently. Perform rigging tasks while demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge. Conduct quality checks using calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to ASME codes & standards. Collaborate with team members on construction projects at various sites, ensuring safety and compliance at all times. Operate forklifts safely for material handling as needed throughout the manufacturing process. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols. Basic qualifications Proven experience in construction site environments with a strong focus on welding practices. Familiarity with basic math concepts essential for precise measurements and calculations. Preferred qualifications Experience in fabrication, assembly, machining, soldering, and ductwork installation. Knowledge of crane operations and rigging techniques is highly desirable. Previous experience working with various welding equipment and tools is a plus.
