Webco Manufacturing is seeking a Weekend MIG Welder to join our precision sheet metal team in Alto, GA. In this role, you will interpret blueprints, set up welding equipment, and perform high-quality MIG welding on custom metal parts and assemblies. You'll inspect welds, maintain equipment, follow safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on sheet metal and fabricated components to meet specifications Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols Set up, operate, and maintain MIG welding equipment and related tools Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards Follow all plant safety, PPE, and housekeeping procedures Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality goals Assist with basic fabrication, fitting, grinding, and finishing tasks Report equipment issues and participate in continuous improvement efforts Required Skills MIG welding Blueprint reading Metal fabrication Weld inspection and quality control Use of welding fixtures and jigs Grinding and finishing Basic fabrication math and measurements Welding equipment setup and maintenance Safety procedures in manufacturing Use of hand and power tools
