Job Description

A leading manufacturer of 316L stainless steel vessels for the semiconductor industry is seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to join their team. If you're passionate about precision welding and producing high-quality work that meets ASME standards, we want to hear from you! Position Overview This is a hands-on role that demands expertise in TIG welding, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to craftsmanship. Required Qualifications To be considered, candidates must have the following: ASME Section IX Certification (required). Formal welding training (school or equivalent work experience). Recent TIG welding experience (within the last 3 months). Proven track record as a TIG Welder, Fabricator, or in a similar role. Ability to successfully complete an in-person interview and welding test. Key Responsibilities As a TIG Welder/Fabricator, you will: Perform precise TIG welding on 316L stainless steel components. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication packages. Use shop math to verify dimensions, fit-up, and part placement. Plan welding sequences to optimize downstream processes, such as grinding, polishing, and machining. Prepare and clean materials prior to welding. Fabricate cylinder and vessel components.
Inspect completed welds for:
Appearance and aesthetic consistency Discoloration, inclusions, porosity, concavity, and convexity Overall quality and adherence to standards Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quarterly skill development programs. Preferred Experience While not required, the following experience is a plus: Welding 316L stainless steel Vacuum industry or semiconductor industry welding Robotic welding Tools You'll Need Industry-standard welding tools Welding helmet Why Join Us?
