Responsibilities This role is responsible for daily Build Shop tasks which include Welding Assembling of components Check parts for quality Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow established fabrication, safety, and quality procedures Qualifications Welding and Materials handling skills 2 + years General Fabrication tools- such as Torch, Angle Grinder, Bandsaw Attention to detail and the ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints and technical drawings Ability to work as part of a team Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite- Outlook Email, Word High school diploma or equivalent, vocational training a plus Excellent problem-solving ability U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident allowing for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Experience Secondary Education Certification 3-4 years experience Prototype and tooling fabrication Knowledge of basic engineering principles Work Environment Shop environment with exposure to noise, heat, and welding fumes Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Must be reliable and able to work scheduled hours, including overtime when needed Routinely use both paper and electronic record keeping systems and communication equipment.
