Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety on construction sites. The Welder will be responsible for creating high-quality welds on metal components, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications. Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and piping. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Conduct fabrication tasks including assembly of components and ductwork installation. Forklifts for material handling as needed. Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards during all welding processes. Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure precision in work. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on projects requiring rigging and mechanical knowledge. Requirements Proven experience in welding, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, Stick welding, and soldering. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in fabrication processes. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Experience with pipe threading, plasma cutting, press brake machines, machining, and assembly is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability for quality work.
