Job Description

MIG Welder We are searching for a welder that can work in a fast paced production environment.
Schedule:
Monday- Friday 7am-4:30pm Monday- Thursday; 7am-3:30pm Friday; Optional Saturdays 7am-11:30am.
Payrate:
$20

Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance About the company: An industry leader in the design and manufacturing of returnable racks and dunnage. The MIG Welder is responsible for this position will be responsible for production line MIG welding Welders fabricate and assemble metal structures through the use of weld machines, equipment, and measuring tools. The incumbent will produce products according to customer or employer specifications. The incumbent will set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment for optimal performance and safety. The incumbent must maintain a good working relationship with fellow workers and customers. This position is responsible to have and maintain the ability to accomplish a task while holding the ability to notice inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facility. The incumbent will complete daily progress sheets to record accomplished work. This role will maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Qualifications:
Some machine maintenance or mechanical experience, ability to follow standard operating procedures
Education :
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience :
Entry to Mid level = 1 - 3 years of welding experience Experience using hand and power tools, required. Experience operating mobile equipment, preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
Must be able to pass a weld test. Welding Certificate, a plus
Additional Skills :
Basic math skills General manual labor Work in a team setting Ability to work independently Understand verbal and written instructions
