- Why Work Here?
- You will join a large, established manufacturing facility that builds and distributes the paving equipment commonly seen on construction sites, working in a true mechanic shop environment rather than on an assembly line.
The organization emphasizes respectful treatment of employees and provides consistent weekly feedback from supervisors to support your growth and development. Major holidays are celebrated with events, gifts, or prizes for all employees, reinforcing a culture of appreciation and recognition. Contractors have clear opportunities to pursue permanent roles, offering a pathway for long-term career advancement.
- Work Environment
- You will work on a shop floor fabrication environment that may involve occasional loud noises of 80 dB or higher and limited exposure to ultraviolet rays emitted by welding arcs and plasma torches.
Safety is a top priority, with strong emphasis on safe work practices and proper use of personal protective equipment. The company provides all welding gear and equipment except steel-toed safety boots, which you will need to supply yourself; if you have a preferred welding helmet, you are welcome to use it. This is not an assembly line setting but a mechanic shop environment where products move through different stages from start to finish. Standard shifts include a 2nd shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday) and a 3rd shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Monday to Friday).
