Job Description

About the Position Looking to start or grow your career in welding? We are willing to train the right person. We are looking for a dependable, motivated MIG Welder to join our production team in Farmington, Missouri. Previous professional welding experience is not required. We welcome recent welding-school graduates, individuals with basic welding experience, and candidates who are interested in developing their welding and fabrication skills. If you are willing to learn, show up consistently, take pride in your work, and want to develop a career in welding, we encourage you to apply. Our experienced team will provide hands-on training to help you learn our welding processes, equipment, quality standards, blueprint reading, measuring, fit-up, and fabrication techniques. What You'll Do As a Welder, you will work with our production team to fabricate and weld metal components according to drawings and specifications. Depending on your experience level, you may receive training in many of the following areas: MIG welding of metal components and assemblies Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Measuring and marking materials accurately Using tape measures Laying out, fitting, and assembling parts before welding Preparing materials using grinders, band saws, dual-action sanders, and other shop equipment Inspecting your work to ensure welds and finished products meet our quality standards Using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment as needed Keeping welding equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe Working with team members and supervisors to solve problems and keep production moving efficiently Following all company safety procedures and proper PPE requirements What We're Looking For You do not need years of welding experience to apply. We are looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Is dependable and has good attendance Is willing to learn and accepts instruction and feedback Takes pride in producing quality work Pays attention to detail Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude Is comfortable working with their hands and using tools Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team Is willing to learn how to read blueprints and technical drawings Is willing to learn how to accurately use tape measures and calipers Is committed to working safely and maintaining a clean work area Experience & Education No professional welding experience required Previous MIG welding experience is a plus, but not required Welding school, technical education, apprenticeship, or hands-on welding experience is a plus Recent welding-school graduates are encouraged to apply Welding certifications are a plus, but not required High school diploma or equivalent preferred Schedule Enjoy a 4-day workweek : Monday through Thursday - 10-hour shifts Occasional mandatory overtime may be required based on production needs.
