Position Summary We are seeking a dependable Welder to support in-shop fabrication, welding, repair work, and other shop-related tasks as needed. This role works under moderate supervision and is responsible for producing quality work that aligns with project specifications, client requirements, and deadlines. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on steel and stainless steel, spool welding aluminum, and TIG welding aluminum Complete fabrication tasks such as cutting, grinding, sanding, polishing, tapping, and drilling along with other work related projects Read and follow verbal instructions, written work orders, and basic shop drawings Identify appropriate metal types and thicknesses for assigned projects Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment while supporting team production goals Qualifications High school diploma or technical school diploma required Minimum 2 years of welding experience required Experience with MIG welding steel and stainless steel, spool welding aluminum, and TIG welding aluminum Ability to read basic shop drawings and use standard fabrication tools and equipment Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, communication skills, and willingness to learn new techniques Must be able to pass a drug test and maintain a clean record Must have reliable transportation and be able to arrive to work on time Must wear sturdy shoes and appropriate work clothing in good repair at all times Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods while working Candidates must be comfortable working at heights of up to 40 stories and working at installation sites when needed Travel is optional, but may be available 1-4 days per month for installations, including long drives or air travel and 8-10 hour days on site
Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
