  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed technical drawings and specifications. Your expertise will ensure that all projects meet quality standards, safety protocols, and production deadlines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of metal materials and fabrication techniques in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation. Duties Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components. Perform various welding processes including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards and ASME codes. Use measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, shop math, and other precision tools to ensure accurate dimensions and fit-up of parts. Operate fabrication shop equipment including oxy/acetylene torches, plasma cutters, mag drills, saws, and lifting equipment. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols, including rigging procedures, proper use of power tools, hand tools, and welding safety equipment. Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, mechanical fabrication projects, and construction site requirements when applicable. Conduct quality inspections using schematics and technical drawings to verify that finished products meet specifications. Support continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining accurate documentation of work performed and participating in safety training sessions. Skills Proficiency in multiple welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding. Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret mechanical blueprints accurately. Skilled in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and shop math for precise fabrication work. Ability to operate power tools safely including oxy/acetylene torch, plasma cutters, grinders, drills, saws, etc. Knowledge of safety protocols related to welding environments including proper handling of gases and shielding materials. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics efficiently. Experience working with forklift trucks or other material handling equipment is advantageous.
