Job Description

Position Summary Seneca Dairy Systems, LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Welder I Plus to support production and fabrication operations. This role involves welding production items and custom components using MIG welding processes, working with jigs and fixtures, and supporting robotic welding operations. The Welder I Plus demonstrates solid welding fundamentals with opportunities to advance into aluminum and stainless steel welding with additional training. Core Values & Expectations Arrives on time each day with a ready-to-work attitude Maintains strong moral and ethical standards Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn Demonstrates a positive attitude, strong communication, and team-oriented mindset Shows strong attention to detail Willing to share ideas, ask questions, and contribute to continuous improvement Key Responsibilities Load parts into robotic welding systems and perform touch-up welding as needed Weld production items using jigs and fixtures Complete small welding projects without jigs when required Weld parts and equipment in and out of position Weld gates and panels using pre-galvanized materials Maintain weld quality and meet production standards Operate the Shoe Bender Operate Plasma Cutting Tables Reporting Relationship Reports directly to the Shop Supervisor Qualifications & Requirements Ability to join and fabricate metal using MIG welding techniques Ability to operate a MIG welder safely and effectively Experience setting and adjusting wire speed and amperage to obtain proper welds on mild steel Ability to determine correct weld size based on material thickness Ability to weld out of position Steady hands and good hand-eye coordination Physical strength and endurance Proficiency using hand and power tools such as grinders, welding clamps, and pliers Familiarity with and adherence to safety requirements and protocols Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific welding discipline Training & Advancement Opportunity to advance into aluminum and stainless steel welding with additional training Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and handle materials, and work in a manufacturing and fabrication environment. Production starts at 7:00AM and Ends at 5:00PM, OT available each and every week!
