TIG WELDER

(PRECISION - FABRICATION)

Job Description:

The position is with a leading Elevator Cab and Entrances company based in Suffolk County. This position will be responsible for welding, assembly, and fabrication of various metals and sub-assembly components. Basic Qualifications /

Skills and Experience:

At least 1 year of TIG welding. Proficiency in Stainless Steel and cold-rolled steel Experience in welding Stainless Steel, and Aluminum. Experience in Fabrication w/ material types: SS, aluminum. Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and layout. Proficient in metal cutting as well as grinding. Mathematical skills Physical capabilities Attention to detail Personal skills Technological and tool-handling skills Physical endurance and strength Excellent work ethics Good teamwork and communication skills High school diploma or GED. Mandatory Proficiency in the following techniques and materials:

TIG Welding Cold Rolled Steel Bronze Aluminum Stainless Steel Additional Requirements:

Must be able to work overtime hours as needed. Must be able to lift a min. of 25 lbs. unassisted. Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).

Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Benefit Conditions A waiting period may apply. Only full-time employees are eligible.
