•Job Description This role focuses on performing high-quality welding and metal fabrication work using MIG, TIG, flux core, and related welding processes. You interpret blueprints and technical drawings, work with stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals, and follow established safety and quality control procedures while operating both traditional and computerized welding equipment. Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, flux core, and other welding processes to fabricate, repair, and assemble metal components. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine welding requirements. Work with stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals to produce accurate and structurally sound welds. Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment, including computerized welding systems, according to project specifications. Follow established welding safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and safe operation of tools and equipment. Apply welding quality control procedures to ensure welds meet required standards and specifications. Inspect finished welds for defects, perform necessary corrections, and maintain consistent quality. Handle brazing tasks as required to join metal parts and support fabrication activities. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are stored and used properly. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and project deadlines. Essential Skills Hands-on experience with MIG and TIG welding processes. Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings. Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal fabrication materials. Solid understanding of welding safety practices and procedures. Proficiency with flux core welding techniques. Ability to perform MIG welding with consistent quality and accuracy. Capability to work effectively with computerized welding equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Certification from a welding program or institute. Brazing experience for joining and repairing metal components. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
