Job Description

This role will be performed in our Hudson, OH location.

POSITION SUMMARY

Plans, lays out and performs complex arc and acetylene welding on production parts following well-established operating practices for mechanical strength. Welds in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions. May also perform stelliting work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 yrs. basic welding experience Knowledge of

SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW & SAW

Able to safely and competently operate MIG, TIG, Carbon Arc, Submerged Arc, oxyacetylene, pre-heat to temperatures up to 600°F Able to lift 50 lbs. Able to use hand tools Able to read and understand blueprints Able to work with large parts and operate overhead crane and tow motor Able to wear safety equipment (i.e. respirator, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, apron etc.) Able to work at heights above ground level Ability to learn new processes and techniques Experience with a Welding Robot a plus
