ASME Pipe Welder - Pressure Vessel & Industrial Fabrication We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder with experience in ASME code fabrication to join a growing manufacturing team. This position involves welding pressure vessels, process piping, and related components used in demanding industrial applications. Candidates should have a solid understanding of code-compliant welding practices, strong fabrication skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Weld Bonuses Included! Essential Duties Perform pipe and pressure vessel welding in accordance with ASME standards and approved welding procedures. Utilize MIG (GMAW) and Flux Core (FCAW) welding processes on pipe and fabricated assemblies. Interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, and weld symbols accurately. Set up welding equipment and make parameter adjustments according to welding procedure specifications (WPS). Prepare materials for welding through proper fit-up, beveling, grinding, and surface preparation. Verify weld quality through visual inspection and ensure compliance with company and ASME quality requirements. Maintain a safe and organized work area while following all plant safety policies. Work closely with fitters, supervisors, and fabrication personnel to achieve production schedules and project deadlines. Qualifications At least 3 years of pipe welding or pressure vessel fabrication experience in an ASME code environment. Proficient at reading and interpreting blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team setting. Strong focus on craftsmanship, accuracy, and quality workmanship. Must be able to successfully complete a 6G pipe weld test utilizing GMAW and FCAW processes. Knowledge of welding procedures, material preparation, weld joint configurations, and welding variables. Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience and welding test results. Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
