GMAW structural steel welder A GMAW welders' primary responsibility is to produce structurally sound welds on members such as columns and trusses. Other responsibilities and job requirements include; analyzing, reading and interpreting blueprints; having knowledge in GMAW, able to work Monday through Friday(subject to change) consistently and willing to work overtime when required; have a positive team driven attitude; able to lift 50lbs. minimum on a regular basis; Stand for 8+ hours daily; able to pass a 15-30 minute in shop weld test and able to pass a drug screen. Job Duties (including but not limited to): Weld using GMAW processes. Achieve and maintain task qualifications for all work performed (GMAW certification). Work in a team environment and follow the Company's Guiding Principles. Perform housekeeping and other organizational requirements. Other duties as assigned. We have both day shift and swing shift positions available. Standard work hours for each shift are as follows: The day shift is Monday-Friday from 6am to 2:30pm (overtime as needed). The swing shift is Monday-Thursday (4-10's) from 2pm to 12:30am (OT will be worked on Friday). Swing shift comes with an additional $2.00 per hour differential pay. Summer months are likely to include mandatory overtime up to and including 55 hours in a single work week. Please see a PBS representative with any questions.
