WELDER / FABRICATOR
2ND SHIFT Lancaster, PA | $23
30/HR | Temp-to-Hire | Immediate Opening Superior Skilled Trades is hiring an experienced Welder/Fabricator for an immediate start in Lancaster, PA .

This is a long-term temp-to-hire opportunity .

PAY & SCHEDULE

Pay:

$23

30/hour, based on experience

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM-1:30

AM Friday:

2:00 PM-12:00

AM Hours:

Full-Time Start Dates:

1st or 15th of each month

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform heavy steel fabrication and welding using FCAW and

MIG/GMAW

Weld carbon and structural steel using multi-pass, fillet, and groove welds Fabricate plates, structural shapes, frames, and heavy steel assemblies Perform joint preparation, fit-up, tack welding, grinding, and finishing Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment Use saws, torches, plasma cutters, drills, grinders, rolls, and press brakes Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication specifications Plan and sequence welds to minimize distortion Perform quality checks throughout the fabrication process Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

QUALIFICATIONS 3-5

years of welding and fabrication experience Strong experience with FCAW and

MIG/GMAW TIG

experience is a plus Strong fit-up, assembly, grinding, and fabrication skills Experience working with structural steel shapes, plates, and heavy weldments Ability to accurately read tape measures, blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Welding certifications in FCAW and GMAW preferred Comfortable working at heights

TOOLS & PPE

Steel-toe boots required Personal welding hood required Hand tools required Power tools provided

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Reliable transportation required Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
