Description:

OpSource has partnered with a machine shop company located in Campobello, SC.

•This is a climate-controlled air-conditioned facility

•Pay for the position: $25+/DOE Shifts for the position: 1st shift 8am-5pm (Flexible) Job requirements for the position may include: One to 3 years of hands-on TIG welding and fabrication experience in a shop or manufacturing environment. High school diploma or GED with technical college welding certificate preferred. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Strict adherence to shop safety rules and proper use of PPE.

Qualifications for the position:

Perform TIG welding on various metals and alloys such as stainless steel and aluminum. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and weld symbols to meet exact customer specifications. Clean, fit, and prep metal components using grinders, cutting tools, and measuring devices like calipers or tape measures. Inspect finished welds to ensure structural integrity and freedom from defects or warping.
