Production Welder

Job Description

We are seeking skilled welders to join our team. Welders will be responsible for welding metal components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques to assemble and fabricate products according to the company's specifications. The successful candidates will have a keen eye for detail, be able to interpret blueprints and schematics, and work with minimal supervision to produce high-quality welds.
Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine welding requirements Set up and operate MIG, TIG, and Stick welding equipment Weld metal components to fabricate and assemble products according to specifications Perform repairs on defects such as leaks, cracks, and non-conforming welds Conduct inspections and testing (including leak/water testing when applicable) Measure materials accurately using tape measures and precision tools Operate overhead cranes, hoists, or lifting equipment to move materials Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time Maintain welding equipment and work area in a clean, organized condition Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
2-3+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment Strong MIG welding skills (required); TIG, Stick, and brazing experience a plus Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Familiarity with AWS welding procedures and standards Experience with fabrication or machine building preferred Ability to pass weld qualification testing Experience operating overhead cranes or hoists is a plus Technical school training or welding certification preferred
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Certificate or diploma in welding or related field is preferred Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in welding using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders Familiarity with welding equipment and tools, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding machines Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Additional Information:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
