Minimum Requirements

FABRICATION

experience in a shop setting. This job required much more than just welding. We are looking for fully capable Metal Fabricators that can read shop drawings and solve complex problems on the fly.

• Field Construction Experience (Leadership Role is a plus)
• Tig welding stainless & aluminum
• Mig welding steel
• Laser welding
• Read tape measure to 1/16"
• Read Blueprints
• Translate 2D designs on paper/blueprints into 3D metal objects in the shop and field
• Experience in finish work, our customers care more about how the project looks than if we followed the AWS code book.
• Ability to layout complex geometry (Handrails, Frames and Jigs) Bonus Skills
• Polishing stainless to #4 or mirror finish
• Braising Brass / Working with Brass
• CNC Press Brake experience
• Paint or powder coat experience
• CAD design Fusion 360 or Solidworks This position includes fabrication in our shop (Springfield, TN) and installation/fabrication in the field (within 30 miles of Nashville, TN.

• 5:30pm Monday-Thursday is the current schedule with overtime as work demands.

Bring a welding hood and work boots, and anything else you would need for a welding test to your interview. Show me what you can do. I give a welding test at the interview that requires you to layout, cut, fit, weld and grind a small section of handrail made from 1" round steel tube.
