Trailer Builder / Welder / Fabricator KAAB Manufacturing is hiring experienced Trailer Builders, Welders, and Fabricators to join our team in Mount Pleasant, Texas . We are looking for people with hands-on experience in trailer building, welding, fitting, and metal fabrication . This is not an assembly-line welding position . Our employees are involved in actually building and fabricating trailers and trailer components. If you know how to take raw material, fit it, fabricate it, weld it, and turn it into a quality finished product, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do Fabricate and build trailers and trailer components Fit, measure, cut, and weld steel Perform MIG welding and general metal fabrication Operate plasma cutting equipment and other fabrication tools Accurately measure and lay out materials Assemble and fit components prior to welding Inspect your work for quality, fit, and accuracy Work independently and with other team members to complete builds Maintain a clean and safe work area What We're Looking For Previous trailer building or metal fabrication experience is strongly preferred . Qualified candidates should have experience with some or all of the following: Trailer building and fabrication MIG welding Fitting and fabrication Plasma cutting Reading and using a tape measure accurately Cutting, fitting, and working with steel Using common welding and fabrication tools Working from measurements and specifications Producing quality work without constant supervision We value dependability, productivity, quality workmanship, and a strong work ethic . Work Schedule Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM-3:30 PM Our standard schedule is four 10-hour shifts, giving employees a consistent three-day weekend . Overtime is available as needed based on production requirements. Compensation Pay is based on experience, skill level, and qualifications. We are willing to pay competitively for experienced individuals who can demonstrate strong welding, fabrication, and trailer-building skills.
