HIRSCHFELD STEEL MANAGEMENT CO

LLC, you will join a team dedicated to delivering high-quality steel products and fabrication services. In this role, you will be responsible for joining, cutting, soldering, and brazing metal components as part of the manufacturing and assembly process. Your primary duties include interpreting blueprints, specifications, and work orders; selecting appropriate tools and materials; and preparing workpieces for processing. You will operate welding and cutting equipment, such as torches, plasma cutters, and arc welders, ensuring all welds and joints meet company and industry standards. You will inspect finished products for structural integrity, measuring and testing welds to guarantee accuracy and quality. Maintaining a safe and clean workspace is essential, as is adhering to established safety practices and procedures. You will collaborate with other team members, communicate progress and challenges, and assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment when needed. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to safety. Experience in welding, cutting, soldering, or brazing is preferred. Physical stamina, the ability to lift heavy materials, and willingness to work in various environmental conditions are required. Familiarity with industry-standard tools and safety protocols is essential for success in this position.
